Motomutterer’s comments

It seems that the ‘Forums’ section flies a bit under the radar. I’m amazed there are no responses to these post-Mugello standings yet! Last year when the Motomutterer’s standings were posted under David’s  MotoGP standings post, there were much more comments. Maybe not such a bad idea to post these dreamteam standings there again? All other comments about the race are under the race report or David’s later race analysis anyway, so these competition comments wouldn’t pollute that.

I’d love to see more amusing talking about this little dreamteam competition of ours!

Especially given that Spongedaddy Inc. is doing such a great job at delivering these standings, it’s a shame it seems to fly under the radar!

I’m with you Powervalve - better under David’s MotoGP standings

The Motomutterers picking results used to be alive with debate and discussion. Seemed to me to play an essential part in developing and maintaining the Motomatters community. We are in danger of losing that connection. And not giving due recognition - not that they would seek it - to the special contribution the Sponge family is making by keeping the scores.

It’s David’s train-set, of course, but please, David, could we go back to how things were last year and the year before, and post the results of the Motomutterers picking under your post race MotoGP standings?

My thoughts exactly Cloverleaf, it makes it feel like chatting and having fun with friends. And all that about a small competition with a T-shirt as the grand prize! Having said 'small', it may be small compared to several commercial dreamteam competitions, but at the same time I think it's quite amazing that we have 36 participants in a spontaneous game that emerged from the comments section! One of the great things of this website I think!

Missing the contributions of the founding father though! And he's doing well in the standings now, he's climbed from 24th after Argentina to 4th after Mugello! Coming a bit too close for comfort to yours truly though... ;-)
