The Game
After signing up, choose your prediction of the season ending top five Motogp riders, the top independent rider, and the top rookie. Edit: There are bonus points for the top-five picks for accurately predicting a riders final position in the Motogp standings. A player's points total will be increased by the following percentages for positions 1st - 5th: 10, 7, 5, 3.25, and 2. Cutoff time is 3:45 am GMT Friday the 28th (10:45 am Buri Ram time Friday morning). Agreement among the players is that the winner from last season will provide this year's prize. If for some reason last year's winner is unavailable, the mutterers site will provide the prize. Wouldn't it be great if the t-shirt had a MotoMatters logo? ;)
The standings will be updated after every race weekend both here and at motomutterers.com.

I forget who suggested adding both top independent and top rookie for this year (and it had been suggested a few years ago), but almost all the players submitted both with their picks. It was a community decision.

Working on this project with my son has been really fun. And watching the player list grow as the clock winds down is exciting. We have been enjoying this. Plus, Sponge Jr has been impressing his boomer dad with his programming prowess. I am very impressed.
