Editor's Blog: Travel Logistics and an Aragon Roundup

By David Emmett | Sun, 01/Sep/2024 - 20:16

It's a hectic few weeks for me. Back at home from Austria it was off to Aragon after a couple of days. And with Misano 1 back to back with Aragon, the timing of travel and flights is tricky. What this means is that I have to be off to bed early to drive to Barcelona to catch a flight, leaving me little time to write my Sunday subscriber notes from Aragon.

Which is a shame, as there was a lot to talk about. Marc Marquez making a remarkable return to victory, and why. How Jorge Martin proved his mettle on a mucky track. Pedro Acosta going back to the future, and of course the clash between Alex Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia. Did the Stewards get it right?

All that will have to wait for Monday night. For now, I must away to bed as I have to get up at the crack of dawn. Apologies in advance and thanks as ever for your support and your patience.

It's a long drive, avoid those sugary energy drinks (unless you can get 'em for nowt out of the paddock: as a Yorkshireman, that's perfectly acceptable) ;-)
