You will have noticed that the site has been rather quiet over the past couple of weeks, as I restrict myself to posting the absolute minimum to keep you up to date with what matters (though I have failed to mention KTM's 2 days of testing at Jerez, with Pol Espargaro and Dani Pedrosa, and the possible sale of MV Agusta by KTM).
This is because the health issues which have been dogging me persist. The bout of 'flu has passed, but I am left with extreme fatigue, as a result of various complications throughout the year. My doctor has prescribed rest, and so that is what I am attempting to do.
I still have a couple of things to post over the next couple of weeks, but it is taking me much longer than normal to write and edit articles. So there will be a couple of articles to come, before I take a two-week break over Christmas and New Year.
My apologies for the delay, but I hope to be back to full fitness in the New Year. I will keep you updated. In the meantime, you can help out by either taking out a subscription, supporting us on Patreon, by making a donation, or contributing via our GoFundMe page. You can find out more about subscribing to MotoMatters.com here.

No problems
Best of luck with your health. We can't do without you in good shape!
Take the rest of the year…
Take the rest of the year off David. We're not going anywhere. Good rest.
Yes...
... what Wavey says. We can all get behind that.
Take care,
Brendan.
Take care
Health is paramount David. Look after yourself and take a well deserved rest. We'll all still be here next year and will find other ways to keep ourselves occupied in the meantime :)
R & R
Wishing you some peace & quiet after another long season, and good health into the new year. All the best to you and your family.
Take Care
Take care of yourself...this reminds me of MM falling off in practice when it doesn't count...you'll be there when the flags drop. That's when it matters. Rest up and get well, another long season ahead.
Would it help?
David, those of us who are gentlemen of a certain age need to recognise that lurgys are sent by the almighty to give us a big hint to to take some down time. Would it help if I were to send you a few (like a hundred) links for reviews of the new 1300GSA? I could send more than that, but 60% of them seem to just go on about how FUGLY it is...(and that's OK with me but if the 1250GSA is the better looking contrast then I need some more 'Mag' in my prescription). Anyway I hear it has more power and has a shorter bugger mode - right up my alley on both scores!
Rest up Mr. Matters.
It's December. Take a non denominational Holiday anyway. You've earned that good sir. When feeling better if weather permits take that GS for a spin. I spent the better part of last weekend picking mine up out of the dirt and smiled for most of it.
All of the above
Do rest and take care and get well. That's what matters.
Best wishes for a full recovery, and happy holidays to you and your loved ones.
Feel better young man,…
Feel better young man, cheers
Get well soon!
David, get some rest and take care of yourself. We all can catch up in the new year. Happy holidays!
