If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The 2025 Ducati Lenovo livery is very similar to the 2024 color scheme

Lenovo are playing an ever bigger part in Ducati's MotoGP project, using Machine Learning to analyze data

Black boots = Bagnaia, red boots = Marquez

Marquez couldn't take Red Bull with him, but he could take Estrella Galicia. Monster joins Estrella Galicia on Marquez' helmet

From 1 to 63. But not for long, if Pecco Bagnaia has anything to do with it.

Not much change for Bagnaia otherwise

From left to right: Pecco Bagnaia (Rider), Davide Tardozzi (Team Manager), Gigi Dall'Igna (Ducati Corse General Manager), Mauro Grassilli (Ducati Corse Sporting Director), Marc Marquez (Rider)

The power behind the throne: without Michele Pirro, Ducati doesn't become the force it now is

Pecco Bagnaia, 3 stars out of 3

Ducati said they would be bringing a new and very different fairing for 2025. This is the 2024 version

High mass Brembo discs, finned brake calipers, and the lower aero sections below the wheel

The GP25 will be getting a new rear swingarm as well, according to Gigi Dall'Igna. But the old one is good enough to show off the partner and sponsor stickers.

The aerofoil fork covers also provide a very good place to apply a Monster sticker

Domino is another technical partner, this one for handlebar grips

With MotoGP now at 40% sustainable fuel, and switching to 100% in 2027, having a fuel partner is crucial.

The office for Marc Marquez

The rear 'salad box' and sponsor sticker holder. At the front, the exhaust for the rear cylinder pair, with exhaust back torque valve

Givi is another official partner. Though we won't see a GP25 with a V47 Monokey topcase fitted any time soon

Most interesting thing here is the adjustable steering head. The bike is in a 'long' configuration here

Big fan of the warp speed backdrop graphics. Warp speed is very much the strength of the Ducati Desmosedici

Marc Marquez came to Ducati seeking redemption. And redemption is what he found

The backdrop to Marquez's bike. The impact he will have while riding for the Ducati factory?
Bada$$ looking bikes and presentation photos.
Warp factor 93
Last year's bike with slightly different livery. Whoopee.
No swingarm spoon. Ducati gave that away years ago. Others still using one or two. Why? Just wait for the new swingarm and fairing.
So we wait for photos from Sepang of the real GP25s.
Nearly there. Warm round 1 at Buriram is much more tempting than snowy Madonna di Campiglio.
Looks like...
... Lenovo Ducati is the new Repsol Honda, not only in results but also the speed of livery evolution. Actually, in fairness, Repsol-HRC changed a fair bit over the ages, albeit incrementally.
Nothing much to learn from the team launches anymore, it's a PR exercise, swank function for the bold and the beautiful to attend, a couple of weeks of hors d'oeuvres to get us through to entree on the 5th of Feb and finally the main course on March the second. :)
2027 Moto3 --> 500cc…
2027 Moto3 --> 500cc parallel twin single manu bike series?! Has anyone else heard this news? Sounds substantiated, keeping an eye out.

Sad, but perhaps necessary
It seems Moto2 & 3 are in an increasingly difficult financial situation, Oxley Bom's interview with Livio Suppo recently touched on this. Suppo felt that manufacturer competition had pushed Moto3 way above the costs originally intended and that spec bikes (dumbed down to a lower cost also) are necessary to bring the costs right down. There was also mention of an 800k euro budget per team just for logistics! Those guys with next to no budget have to attend all the same events that the multi-million dollar funded MotoGP teams do. There's just not enough sponsorship to cover it.
I even wonder if Liberty (if that all still goes through) won't be tempted to merge Moto 2 & 3 into a single support series? It's now so far away from the old 125 , 250 & 500 classes and meanwhile more or less utterly irrelevant as a parallel for road bikes. Heresy...

Blasphemy?
^ Right Bregz? Just the Moto3 bike and half dozen engines is $1.7 million.
Looking like they are shooting for approx the Ninja 500 as a spec bike. Guess 70-75 HP (50 right now from that 250 single)? For sure the ubiquitous parallel twin. Cost well under half. They already drastically shrank the grid size to save Dorna money, right? Not liking that.
Not sure what to think...I may be in the minority in digging it. I love Moto2. And my 400cc lightweight, could be a treat? (Blasphemy?)

Why not just scrap Moto3 and…
Why not just scrap Moto3 and call it the red bull rookies cup instead ?
Personally I don't like Moto3 and Moto2 being considered 'feeder' series for MotoGP. Moto3 is the best example of the two. Lightweights are unique in so many respects, or should be, used to be. Sachsenring is a completely different track to the lightweights. Slipstream racing at the faster tracks. Love it. I never liked the age restriction because that turned it into a feeder series. It's become an obstacle to get beyond instead of a discipline of its own. I think that kills off some interest but I'd hate to see it vanish. However, a lack of sponsors indicates a lack of interest, so I guess I'm in the minority. So often the best racing of any weekend.
Pecco & Marc hate each other!!
Pecco and Marc, Italy - Spain adverdaries! How ever will Ducati manage these riders in one team?! Such drama!
