A brief rain shower shortly after 2pm kept everyone in the pits during the lunch break, with no real action on the track. Riders started back shortly after 3pm, and work is continuing. But there have been no changes since 2pm.

MV12’s consistency
David I was thinking about how MV12 has had this amazing ability to get brilliant times in testing etc and then when it comes to an actual race he occasionally finishes so far back that we never see him on the TV. Anyway I’m wondering if you get bored on your flight home would it be possible to do an article comparing rider and manufacturer results after the first test relative to their championship results, since say 2016 when all the fun gadgets got on the MotoGP bikes. I think someone on your podcast mentioned that KTM’s test results are typically not indicative, perhaps on reflection they let us know exactly where we could expect them to end in the championship.
