Dennis Foggia
He seemed to be starting to figure it out in Moto2, so how'd he end up back in Moto3?
Also, Riccardo Rossi is such a conundrum. Sometimes he's damn fast, but that seems to be about three times a year lately.

He never figured Moto2 out
Aside from a randomly strong performance at COTA, Dennis has been invisible throughout his Moto2 career and basically didn't improve at all. It seems to be a common theme with riders coming from Leopard, c.f.r. Kent, Masia and Dalla Porta, possibly because they like hiring old campaigners?
As for this year, I have no expectations to be honest, riders going back a class don't tend to perform that well.
Riccardo Rossi is a journeyman (I'm sorry to sound dismissive but he's a textbook quality example) of the kind that used to be far more common a decade ago or so. Waking up on the right side of the bed and running at the front isn't easy, but it's easier in Moto3 than in the other classes.

Foggia
You know, you're right about Dennis Foggia. On reviewing the results, I realized that he rarely finished in the points. I think I had a bit too much focus on his good results at COTA. He was better than his first year, but not much. As for the Leopard riders, Joan Mir has had the best results of any of them. If only Suzuki hadn't bailed!
Cormac
Nice to see NZ represented on the global stage again.
1.3seconds back is an ok start
