As the temperature rose to 28ºC, World Supersport lined up for twenty short laps of the last race of the weekend.
Yari Montella led Adrian Huertas into turn one as Huertas lifted the front wheel off the start. Stefano Manzi and Can Oncu rounded out the top four, ahead of Federico Caricasulo and Lucas Mahias. John McPhee crashed out on the first lap and Toba Kaito crashed at turn two of lap two, but he recovered over twenty seconds off last place. Federico Caricasulo set the fastest pap, a 1'32.588, in fifth place as Huertas pushed past Montella into turn one, followed by Manzi a couple of turns later. Huertas, with clear track ahead of him, set a fastest lap of 1'32.468 on lap three.
At the start of lap five of twenty, Huertas led Manzi, Montella and Oncu with Caricasulo joined by Tom Booth-Amos behind them. Adrian Huertas set a 1'32.169 before running off track and losing two places and landing in front of Oncu. Manzi fought off Montella as Huertas caught the pair with Can Oncu joined by Booth-Amos who passed Caricasulo. Montella took the lead from manzi down the back straight and set a 1'32.117 lap record in the lead. Lucas Mahias retired from the race, pulling into pit lane.
Booth-Amos took fourth place from Oncu at the end of the back straight into turn eleven, almost two seconds off Huertas in third place. Miquel Pons became the third crasher.
Yari Montella crashed out on lap ten of twenty, losing the front into turn seven, giving Manzi the lead and putting Booth-Amos on the podium at half race distance. Montella recovered his bike and returned to his garage under his own steam.
At two thirds distance, Huertas looked settled in second place, letting Manzi escape in the lead. Booth-Amos in third place maintained his two second lead over the MV Agusta fight for forth place with Caricasulo fending off Marcel Schroetter with Valentin Debise in tow.
Lap fifteen of twenty, Manzi set a personal best lap as he broke free of Huertas, stretching out a two second lead as the podium places were all settled in their places. Off the podium, Caricasulo, Schroetter and Debise were covered by around a third of a second on lap eighteen of twenty. Caricasulo and Schroetter swapped back and forth until Schroetter held fourth place into the last corners to start the penultimate lap ahead of Caricasulo and Debise. Debise took sweeping lines behind Caricasulo and was in the ideal place to capitalise when Caricasulo went wide into turn six.
Last lap, Stefano Manzi held on to a three second lead to take a win ahead of Adrian Huertas and Tom Booth-Amos, the Triumph rider's first podium in Supersport, with a Yamaha joined by a solitary Ducati and Triumph on the podium.
With Montella's DNF, Huertas extended his lead in the championship by twenty points to forty three and Stefano Manzi climbed to within seven points of second place.

Ever seen a build on that 765 "Street Triple?" Ends up being just the frame and motor plus the tank. There's an option for Moto2 Style fairing, it is gorgeous.
Still wish the American supplied throttle by wire wasn't keeping the already homologated GSXR750 from getting run here. It rivals the Ducati, cheap as hell to run and parts are a-plenty. Privateer's choice.
KTM has their RC9 parallel twin released. Should be here next yr? Down on power, but light and super nimble. Well engineered. Have to admit I was bummed by the dyno #'s on that motor, but hope endures.
Honda, what the heck are you thinking? Having a hard time assuming this is it. Why even be out there? Lots of funding, but back markers. Insulting that their stolen 800cc four Chinese CBR650 knockoff is beating them. Are you REALLY going to take that slap in the honor? Why not re-do the old Bayliss/Edward's battle with Ducati and do a big twin? Better yet, a Triple. We KNOW you can! Had you followed through with your V4 Superbike when you had Rea? Same thing here. And the R9 is coming, what say you? Crickets so far.
