Yamaha test rider?

I’ve kinda lost track of what Cal (or ??) are doing for Yamaha. Are they the only manufacturer with no test rider, or is that just for this session? I guess no KTM tester either (normally Dani).

Kallio still works for KTM, as does the younger Asparagus brother, and Pedrosa as well. Crutchlow has been off all year with some major hand problem (fell off his bicycle again, maybe?), but Fernandez has been confirmed with Yamaha and Dovi is apparently still on the string as a maybe.

They have less use for test riders because they can use their race riders to test. Honda too. Other teams not.

I got confused why Martin still had his red and purple Prima Pramac leathers before finally remembering that Aprilia had red and purple this year as well.

...But he popped out of his Hasta La Vista Baby box in...Black.

;)

Hope they take a step together, Ogura could too. More "rideable bike" than the others, eh? Closer to conventional? Used to be the Yamaha was the easiest rookie transition, Duc hardest. Then Suzuki joined there. Now, might be Black?
